Pianist Adriana Teodoro-Dier, DMA, has appeared across the United States as a collaborative and solo artist. Multi-faceted as a performer, educator, and coach, Teodoro-Dier is committed to exploring intersections between music and other art forms, history, and innovations. Teodoro-Dier is an Affiliate Faculty member at Metropolitan State University and Regis University as a Staff Collaborative Pianist. Around Colorado's Front Range, recent performances have included venues such as Dazzle Jazz Lounge and the Dairy Center for the Arts.
A scholarship recipient for her undergrad and graduate degrees, Teodoro-Dier embarked on an intensive double-degree bachelor's program at Lawrence University, where she graduated magna cum laude in both Physics and Piano. Choosing to pursue her passion for the arts, she attended Cincinnati College-Conservatory for an MM in Piano Performance. Shortly afterwards, she completed a DMA in Collaborative Piano at the Frost School of Music (FL), where she specialized in Opera/Vocal Accompanying. Her teachers have included Santiago Rodriguez, Paul Posnak, Eugene and Elisabeth Pridonoff, and Anthony Padilla.
Though passionate about performing late 19th century works, Teodoro-Dier is an avid supporter of emerging composers and enjoys performing contemporary music. She is also a visual artist specializing in abstract works. www. AdrianaTD.com
